There are many uses for your nice PS3 besides playing games. You can connect to the Playstation Network and have access to a variety of free PS3 downloads. There's something for everyone on this network. Plus it's free so you can't really complain.

Sony scored big points with gamers by making the PSN free to everyone, obviously the stuff you buy from it requires money but that's to be expected. Most updates and other game related files come from this location. You can get any kind of media you can imagine here. Plus download games for the Playstation Portable.

This can unlock a few things for games on the PSP but mainly it allows you to load it with some games. The Playstation network has what they call PS1 classics. There are the classic games we played when the original Playstation was at the height of its glory. These can be put on the PSP and taken on the road.

As you can see this is a neat thing to do. Everyone loves to be able to take games with them. But in addition to this you can also play the classics on the PS3 console. In addition to that you can also store music on it and make it an mp3 player until you get the money to buy some games. The games themselves are getting kind of cheap now so you will be able to grab a few eventually.

Registering with the PSN is a breeze. Once this is done you have access to the network and can stay in contact with friends. Updates are performed quite frequently so do not be alarmed if it looks different next time you log on. Nice little service for being free isn't it?

If you have any games that support downloadable content then you'll be able to update them here. Every next gen console can connect to the internet and developers have taken advantage of this. You will be able to find maps and patches via the PSN and apply them without hassle. In case you don't know what patches are they are small pieces of programming released by the developers to fix bugs in games.

In closing you don't have to look far to find free PS3 downloads. Just connect to the network find something you want and you are on your way. It can be kind of easy to lose some time browsing it as the amount of media they have on the network is huge. Happy gaming and remember just because a game is old doesn't mean it isn't worth playing.

Getting The Best Video Games Experience.

Those of you who're old enough recall the eighties will probably truly be able to understand precisely how far video gaming has come. Once the only places to have remarkable video gaming experiences would have been in entertainment arcades, whilst home gamers were using a much inferior product.

Now however, considering the never slowing march of technology, your home gaming is simply awesome.

Although, it is often suggested by some, rather convincingly I believe, that although the sensory experience has developed, the overall game play hasn't been in a position to keep pace and that it is still at a comparable point.

Today though, thanks to system improvements the home experience is progressing quickly. Plasma TV's and sound systems together with specifically produced video gaming add-ons are really creating some thing really exciting to hold individuals spanning various ages addicted.

A good example of one of these add-ons would be the Playseats Evolution Gaming Seat. It's actually a video gaming chair that can be set up to perform like a real racing seat. It'll work with the users personal choice of gaming wheel and foot pedal, and can be operated by all the major video gaming systems, as well as Laptops or computers.

The chair is made of top quality leather and can be bought extremely reasonably. Even though, individuals definitely will have to be sure that they have enough room to set up the Playseats Evolution Gaming Seat before buying it.

This seat and all of those other add-ons are all available on the internet. Just be sure to read buyer evaluations prior to continuing with an order, as some aren't really as good as they'll appear to be.

It will be interesting to see the way the home gaming sector goes on to push growth in it's drive in the direction of a life like experience. Even though, my personal primary hope is that they are able to continue to press the actual game play experience instead of just what players can see and listen to.

Some Of The Top Nintendo Emulater Programs

There's still something about the Nintendo Entertainment System. Even all these years later when we have hyper-realistic 3D graphics running at thirty frames a second, full orchestrated soundtracks, voice acting, controllers that respond to real movement, high definition graphics... There's still just something about those two color sprites, the blips and bloops of the music, the way the graphics would freak out and get all weird if the game was put in wrong... It was VIDEO GAMES, and it had a certain excitement that modern games rarely achieve, and that's why these Nintendo emulater programs remain so popular...

Windows

There are a lot of top Nintendo emulators for the PC right now. A lot of these emulators succeed at pretty much running any game you could want to play perfectly, including some weird, unlicensed bootlegs. You know, those weird Chinese bootleg versions of fighting games?

The Mac OS X

Mac OSX is tricky for finding the best emulators, but luckily, many of the top PC emulators have been ported to the system, and work just about as well as the PC versions. Just find one you can rely on and keep it, since the world of Mac emulators isn't quite as dynamic as the world of PC emulators.

Wii

The best emulator for the Wii? Obviously, that's got to be the Virtual Console. The only problem with the VC is that you have to wait until Nintendo decides to put the games you want to play up for download, so you might wind up waiting around for some of your favorite cult classics, so you might want to get a copy of a third party emulator just in case Nintendo slacks on one of your favorites.

The Playstation Portable

The top emulators for the PSP can actually play all your roms just fine in spite of this being a Sony product and the games being Nintendo. You can find plenty of emulators for the PSP and use all the same roms and play your Nintendo on the go.

Rare Video Game Reviews

I commenced looking ebay in an effort to find these games and to my continuing surprise, they were terribly expensive! Games like Castlevania : Symphony of the Night, last Fantasy VII, vagrant Story and many others cost the same price as when they were first released! I was surprised and realized that it may be a while before I have all of the games that I loved as a child and I'd have to seek these rare Playstation games down over time .

This is what actually started me into major game picking up. I started to realize that games i have been picking up for years were now considered collectibles. Soon after realizing this, I created a youtube channel and revealed that there are tons of other gameplayers around the world who collect and enjoy Playstation games as much as I do. I have met people with much more games than myself and have come to notice that some games are worth well into the tons of greenbacks. So now, my goal is to expand my collection to not only get the games from my adolescence, but also own many games that I have missed and will enjoy.

This is what truly started me into major game collecting. I started to realize that games i have been collecting for years were now considered collectibles. Shortly after realizing this, I made a youtube channel and found that there are tons of other gameplayers around the world who collect and enjoy video games as much as I do. I've met people with far more games than myself and have come to understand that some games are worth well into the hundreds of bucks. So now, my goal is to expand my collection to not only get the games from my infancy, but also own many games that I have missed and will enjoy.

Currently, I'm looking out for a few specific games that I would like to have. The 1st is Panzer Dragoon saga for the Sega Saturn. It only had a release of roughly 10,000 copies in the US so it is quite rare. The price on ebay is usually around the 2 hundred greenback mark. I've heard many good things about this game and it's one that I'll definitely own in the future. I just hope to get a copy before the price rises even more.

The following game I want to get is Popful Mail. It is a side-scrolling platformer released on the Sega CD. This games price is a little more reasonable at approximately $50. The subsequent game is Silent Hill for the Playstation one. It is one of the finest games from the terror class to date and I would really like to possess a copy of it for my collection. This game costs approximately $50 too. Hopefully, I will be in a position to begin collecting these rare video games and have a much bigger collection of games in the future.

How To Use Free PSP Game Downloads To Find The Newest Games

Sony has sure had a winner with the PSP! It's quickly become the number one selling portable gaming system and keeps picking up new fans each day. We have been getting a number of emails from people wondering where they can find free PSP downloads so we thought we would put together a quick article outlining your options.

One of the best features of the PSP is being able to download PSP games and use them on your system instead of always having to buy them at the store. This can be done right from your computer and is a lot cheaper than pulling out your wallet each time you want a new game!

Let's not waste any time! I'm going to list your three options to find free PSP downloads:

Option #1 - How To Find PSP Game Downloads

Many people will head over to Google and punch in "free PSP downloads" hoping to find something they can use.

Does this actually work?

Well.....kinda. You can find a few websites that advertise having "free PSP downloads" and then ask you to install some software to be able to use them. However you need to know a couple of things before you click that download button.

The first problem is that there are tons of viruses floating around these websites. There isn't any person monitoring them so many of the files that are added are just viruses or spyware - not good!

One of our biggest beefs with these sites is that the download speeds are insanely slow. Since there isn't any money being invested in the websites so the downloads can seem to take forever.

One more problem that can leave you pulling your hair out - many of the games you download don't even work! There are all sorts of "corrupt" files on these sites which means you won't be able to use them at all.

For obvious reasons, we don't recommend using these websites. They sound good at first, but there are far better options out there for you.

Option #2 - Finding Free PSP Downloads

This next option is a lot safer and more reliable than the first.

There are PSP download websites that allow you to download games, movies and music when you sign up as a member. As you might guess, they charge a fee for each membership. These sites costs about $30 each month, however this lets you download as many games or files as you want.

It isn't really worth covering this option in great detail because the next one is a lot less expensive and lets you download any game you want.

Option #3 - Free PSP Game Downloads

This last option is quickly becoming the standard for downloading PSP games, movies and music. It's the option the majority of our readers end up choosing in the long-run.

There are websites that are the exact same as the sites in option #2, but they only charge a one-time membership fee. You are only ever billed once and are then considered a lifetime member. You can login and download as many PSP games, movies or music for the rest of the time that you own your PSP.

You can expect to pay about $40 for this kind of membership. It's not expensive considering you will be able to download as many games and movies as you want for as long as you use your PSP. Your membership includes the software to transfer files onto your PSP at no extra cost.

At the bottom of this article we included a link where you can learn how to start a free trial at a couple of the most popular PSP download websites. This will let you get an idea of how it works and see how easy it is.

Since the companies that are behind these websites are trying to make a profit, they do what it takes to make sure that their customers are happy. This means the downloads are fast, you can find the newest and most popular games and all of the files work and are virus-free.

The PSP is a great entertainment system that you can always have with you while you're 'on the go'. Using PSP downloads is the best way to make sure you can always find new games or movies without having to spend a fortune. A quick warning though - it's easy to get addicted!

How To Stop Xbox 360 Flashing Red Lights Mistake

Xbox 360 gamers must cope with the dreaded Xbox 360 flashing red lights blunder if you were sufficiently unlucky to purchase a defective games machine. The legendary "3 Rings of Death" occurs because of hardware failure in the Xbox's core motherboard + hard drive system.

While there isn't any straightforward way to stop this occurrence from happening again, there are a few fast methods to stop your Xbox 360 from showing the three red rings of death.

1. Move Your Xbox 360 to a roomy Area on the Floor - many think the red rings blunder is partially caused by overheating issues with the 360's hard drive. Microsoft packed so much into the system that it becomes hot very quickly. Always place your Xbox 360 on the floor with masses of free room around the console to breathe. This can stop overheating & limit the possibilities of seeing the 3 xbox red lights.

2. Always switch off the Xbox Console with your Controller - Not a big issue, but manually turning off the Xbox using your hand could put further stress on the hard drive to close off. By employing the controller, you give the Xbox a smoother shut down phase, and may extend the overall life of your Xbox console.

3. Clean All Games thoroughly Before Inserting into the Xbox 360 - often your Xbox games will collect dust & mud after you play them for some time. Extra dust creates friction within the unit, perhaps making it fail during your gaming sessions. Keeping all games clean, together with your console, will help to stop the xbox 360 3 red light mistake.

The easiest way to resolve any problem is to stop it from happening in the 1st place. If your Xbox 360 console still shows the three blinking red lights, please see my resource box to fix your problem at once. You will get the necessary info.
