Not too long back I suffered a serious problem with my PS3. Yup, all of the unexpected I was looking at black screen on my TV and was definite I had a damaged PS3. I literally drove myself silly for two weeks trying to figure out what the difficulty was. I was sure I was going to need to either send my PlayStation away for repair or simply go out and buy another one.

I actually didn't want to drop $400 on a new system. And the concept of sending my system away, paying $150 for a repair and waiting 6 weeks for it to be dispatched back wasn't that appealing either. I wish i had known there were PS3 repair manual available!

So I set out to work out determined to work out how to fix my damaged PS3 on my own.

First thing i figured out quickly . There is a lot of bad info out there. And, I mean a lot. But I was able to pick up a few good ps3 mend tricks. And I also discovered there are basically quite a few issues apart from just the black screen issue.

At any rate, these are some tips I discovered that sound right and basically helped 1 or 2 people.

You can reset your machine by powering your PS3 down, then holding the power button in for a total of 5 seconds. You need to hear a beep confirming that your system has been reset to defaults. After this makes sure you check all connections of your console. It is also a brilliant idea to re-seat your hard drive by removing it and setting it back in.

These easy tips will really unravel most peoples issues ; whether you are suffering from a blinking blunder, an issue with your PS3 Bluetooth controller, issues with freezing films and games, and no display blunders.

For the rest of you people, you're going to have to take the route I took to fix my damaged PS3. You'll need to take a position in a PS3 guide. A well crafted repair guide can walk even the biggest technophobe through all of the steps needed to fix almost any PS3 problem.
